Control Citronella Dog Collar – highly effective

Due to population pressures more and more people have migrated towards the cities and are increasingly living in limited spaces. Although most people love dogs, not everyone likes them when they start to bark loudly especially the neighbours and they even get on our own nerves sometimes. This has not altered the fact that people love their pets, especially dogs and will do and spend anything to retain them.
There are several types of bark control devices used as training tools. Barking is not bad, what is bad is excessive barking and sometimes barking for no reason. So a dog must be trained as to what is acceptable and what will not be tolerated. One such training device is the MultiVet citronella collar.
This is a firsthand experience that converted me from a sceptic to a believer of the effectiveness of this device. I am now going to tell you firsthand what happened as we used this collar. First we put it on our dog and let him get used to the collar. Then after a few days we armed it .A soon as it gets armed its sensors on the collar get activated which detect barking. This is what triggers the mechanism. Now we waited with baited breath as to what effect it would have. We did not have to wait long, as soon as my spaniel gave aloud bark his head was enveloped in a fine mist of citronella and the look on his face was of pure astonishment and slight disgust at the smell. Dogs being dogs, after some time she gave another bark and was met with the same results.
English cocker spaniels are quick learners and she learned pretty quickly that the best way to avoid the smell was not to bark. This was two months ago and now we do not even need the collar anymore as it has become a habit. Now the collar comes out occasionally only when she relapses into her barking and is put onto her just as a threat.
Sometimes it is not even turned on and sometimes just to reinforce the message we turn on the collar.
Most of the times now we do not even require the collar. Our dog learned fairly quickly that uncontrolled barking was not an acceptable behaviour and is now never a nuisance to any of the neighbours. Dogs have sensitive noses and do not like the smelly citronella mist one bit. So, they soon learn to control their barking instead.
Several types and make of bark control devices are to be found in the market. One of these types of devices is the citronella dog collar which is a safe and from my personal experience, a very trusted device whereby I controlled my dogs uncontrolled barking within a span of two months. This device just used oil extracted from cultivated grasses which repulsed the dog and dissuaded him from barking. I know because I can testify from first had experience.
